Keyboard Repair
-
A Retro Asylum Spectrum +3 gets the audio distortion fix, a SCART compliance fix, a full 3-inch drive refurbishment with a new belt and a keyboard clean.
-
Unboxing and test fitting brand new coloured, clear and smoked ZX Spectrum 48K cases, key mats, faceplates and a new membrane from Retro Radionics.
-
New coloured rubber key mats, faceplates and membranes for the ZX Spectrum 48K from RetroRadionics, compared with the originals and fitted to my Issue 2 Spectrum.
-
A quick box opening: Elliot Foulger sends a scruffy but working Toshiba HX-10 MSX, which may end up as a donor for my faulty one.
-
A Spectrum 48K+ from my to-fix pile turned out to have a rare AMI SAGA-1A ULA. I test it, check the picture and measure how cool it runs against a Ferranti ULA.
